Event held as part of the International Day of Peace 2025.

The exhibition of Japanese ink painting sumi-e, “With Peace in Mind – The Voice of Art”, is inspired by the annual celebration of the International Day of Peace. It presents works by artists – students of the International School of Japanese Painting Atelier Margot – who, at various levels of advancement, share their emotions, reflections, and the beauty of sumi-e art.

Each work is a personal voice for peace – quiet, yet full of expression and meaning. The exhibition invites visitors to pause, to contemplate, and to reflect together on what truly matters.

In today’s world full of tensions, art can become a path towards solace, dialogue, and constructive reflection.

Veranstaltung im Rahmen des Internationalen Friedenstages 2025.

Die Ausstellung der japanischen Tuschemalerei Sumi-e, „Mit dem Gedanken an Frieden – Die Stimme der Kunst“, ist inspiriert von den jährlichen Feierlichkeiten zum Internationalen Friedenstag. Sie präsentiert Werke von Künstlerinnen und Künstlern – Studierenden der Internationalen Schule für Japanische Malerei Atelier Margot – die auf unterschiedlichen Niveaus ihre Emotionen, Reflexionen und die Schönheit der Sumi-e-Kunst teilen.

Jedes Werk ist eine persönliche Stimme für den Frieden – leise, doch voller Ausdruck und Bedeutung. Die Ausstellung lädt dazu ein, innezuhalten, zu kontemplieren und gemeinsam über das nachzudenken, was im Leben wirklich wichtig ist.

In einer von Spannungen erfüllten Welt kann Kunst zu einem Weg des Trostes, des Dialogs und der konstruktiven Reflexion werden.

Wydarzenie realizowane w ramach Międzynarodowego Dnia Pokoju 2025.

Wystawa malarstwa tuszowego sumi-e „Z myślą o pokoju – głos sztuki” została zainspirowana ideą corocznych obchodów Dnia Pokoju. To prezentacja prac wykonanych przez artystów – studentów Międzynarodowej Szkoły Malarstwa Japońskiego Atelier Margot, którzy – niezależnie od stopnia zaawansowania – wyrażają poprzez swoje obrazy emocje, refleksje i piękno tradycyjnej sztuki sumi-e.

Każda z prac jest osobistym głosem w intencji pokoju – subtelnym, ale pełnym znaczenia. Wystawa zachęca do zatrzymania się, do kontemplacji i wspólnej refleksji nad tym, co w życiu naprawdę istotne.

W świecie pełnym napięć sztuka może stać się drogą do ukojenia, porozumienia i konstruktywnego dialogu.

EKŌ-Haus der Japanischen Kultur, Dusseldorf

Film The line that defines me, directed by Koizumi Norii, which has been presented as the culmination of the 18th Dusseldorf Film Days, Eyes on Japan.

Thanks to the great cooperation with my Master Tohun Kobayashi it was possible to see the original works of Camellia and Orchid depicted in the film. The audience has also had opportunity to touch the big brush used in the film to trace and define their own lines.

First, I made a presentation on the principles of sumi-e, introducing the audience to the world of sumi-e. After the film, I made a second presentation on the coulisses of the film and shearing all the answers to my questions that my Master sent me.
